The Beautiful Pondicherry Consortium represents a collection of community-minded stakeholders, many of whom have years of specialized expertise in one or more aspects of urban planning, beautification or management, who have come together to celebrate the unique character of Pondicherry and to help the city achieve its true potential as both a wonderful place to live and an interesting place to visit. The current members include:
Golden Chain Fraternity – alumni organization of the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education (SAICE), Sri Aurobindo Ashram.
INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Chultural Heritage) – an all-India organization dedicated to heritage conservation and awareness. In Pondicherry, INTACH works with the Government and the public to conserve the architectural heritage and townscape.
Shuddham - a non-governmental organization working on urban sanitation, solid waste management, recycling, and composting.
